Had a great time last night with this fun couple. Looking forward to photographing their wedding this fall. Congratulations Kayla & Zach!
Last week, I got to photograph a family, some of whom had come in from out-of-state to spend Easter together. So, we had great grandmother, grandparents, mom and dad, aunt and uncle, two little ones and one on the way. Great family. It was a lot of fun for them and for me. The little girls were just precious. In a couple of these, grandpa and little sister get a kiss. I love capturing these spontaneous and precious moments.
Last week, staff at the Grand Canyon National Geographic Visitor Center saw a photo I had posted on Instragram (sherylmclainphotography). They asked me if they could share it on their social media feeds and then encouraged me to submit a few more, along with some tips and information about our trip to the Grand Canyon last summer. They posted the photos and information today.

Needless to say, I’m so excited, flattered and humbled.
Before she was born, I got to take photos of Maggie’s parents, as they eagerly awaited her arrival. I took family photos when she was a couple of months old. Now, she is a little older than one. She is quiet and very curious. Her mom says she isn’t known for smiling a lot, but I’m told these images captured the “real” Maggie. She is a precious little girl with gorgeous blue eyes. In one of Maggie’s photos, our family dog came in to say hello.
