Vancouver Island has been on the our list for a very long time. We made this happen in July 2026, staying in three very different places on the island. Our first stop, after flying into Victoria, was a stay in Port Renfrew, which is a hiking destination filled with beautiful old growth forests. Many of the giant trees are 800 years old. Here are a few of my favorites from this part of our trip.
