During my recent trip to Alaska, the fall colors were stunning against the beautiful backdrops of glaciers and mountains. Here are a few images taken in mid-September in and around the Sutton area, about 100 northeast of Anchorage. The fog was hovering beautifully over the Chugach Mountain, along the Glenn Highway. Other images, of the glacier and surrounding area, was the Matanuska Glacier. We hiked on the glacier and then photographed above it, where we were able to capture fall foliage. Such an incredibly beautiful place, Alaska!
