Italy’s Lakes District – Lake Orta

Our second stay while in the beautiful lakes district was in the charming little town or Orta, on Lake Orta. Across from Orta we could see San Guilio Island, which houses a working convent. We took a boat ride over and walked around the charming quiet island. This walk included the meditative “walk of silence.” Here are some of my favorite images from that stay.
