On a very cold January afternoon, I decided to bundle up and check out the sunset at Lake Hefner, here in Oklahoma City. My sunset app had forecast a nice one, but just like the weather, that predictor can quickly change. I was joined by a couple of other crazy photographers who had obviously also been looked at the sunset prediction for that evening. I’ve captured many sunsets at Lake Hefner, but this one was especially stunning. The sky was on fire for a bit, then turned pink and purple. I shot until after dark. Here are a few of my favorites from that evening.
