Last year, after staying in Lucerne (Luzern), Switzerland, we headed to the Bernese Oberland area where we parked our car and headed via a cable car tram into the Swiss Alps for a few days. On the way to Murren, we were told by a local photographer to stop in Brienz and spend a bit of time. We did and actually had lunch across from this beautiful, turquoise-colored lake.
