In September 2022, I participated in my third Italy photo workshop; this one was in the Italian alps, an area we had not seen before. The Austrian and Swiss influence was evident in the architecture, food and language. In fact, before World War I, this area of Italy was part of Austria. This charming little church, which still hosts weddings and other events, was on the top of my list for “must have” shots. So, the day we traveled here was very exciting for me. The rain held off with enough time to fire off several shots. Then, the heaven’s opened up and rain continued for several hours. I have printed one of these on canvas and it is stunning. Since I like each of these formats, I’ll attach them all for you to see.
