While on a photography workshop, based in Glendive, Montana, we visited a beautiful park — Makoshika State Park — which was my first time to see and photograph these beautiful hoodoos. Also called a tent rock, fairy chimney, or earth pyramid, a hoodoo is a tall, thin spire of soft rock formed by erosion. These were fascinating to see and to photograph. These would be great printed on fine art premium canvas, due to the textures in the rocks.
