Many of us sought a Covid respite by heading to the beach! Along with everyone else, I’ve missed travel so much. In May, my husband and I headed to Florida for some R & R and beach therapy, which included long walks along the beach, and as many sunsets as we could find. This was our first time to Siesta Key and I can see why it’s ranked the #1 most beautiful beach in the US. It was stunningly beautiful with powdery white sand and miles of walking opportunities. I knew I had to photograph the iconic lifeguard stands and, as a bonus, I was asked by a couple of lifeguards to take their photo. Once I got back home to Oklahoma, I sent them three of my favorites.
