I’m combining a few of the Tuscan countryside with images of this beautiful little church, which is also located in this beautiful countryside.
This little gem, said to be built around 1590 (and restored in 2021) is nestled among cypress trees on a Tuscan hill on what is now a #UNESCOWorldHeritage site. Located in the province of Siena, the Chapel is one of the most photographed churches in Tuscany. It was built on the spot where legend says the Virgin Mary appeared to a shepherdess. La Capella della Madonna Vitality (the Chapel of the Madonna of Vitality) draws tourists and professional photographers from all over the globe. Here are a few of my images of this Tuscan treasure and the surrounding area.
